Jack and Brittney envisioned a wedding day that was classic, romantic, and timeless. Set at the historic mansion Paine Art Center and Gardens with its lush greenery and gardens, they were able to fully execute and elevate this vision. They took advantage of the beauty of the outdoors and chose a tented reception in the gardens so it would always be the backdrop of their day.
Brittney was one of the many talented vendors that helped make this day as beautiful as it was. She handlettered and designed the invitations, escort sign, table and decor signage herself. Working at House of Flowers, she also helped design her all ivory bouquet of peonies.
Aside from the visual details that made this wedding day feel simply like a fairytale, a favorite part of the day was when the two were saying their vows to each other. It began to heavily rain (very very heavily) right as they were about to say “I do.” Jack and Brittney had a moment where they looked up at the rain and giggled and looking at eachother and their audience as if, “do we keep going?” And they did; sealing it with a kiss in the rain. Looking back through these photos, it’s clear the rain only made their day all the more romantic.
